A wonderful experience of how to dance (at least try to). Victoria and her support team are a friendly troupe, very understanding of each individual’s limitations. Organises dances a plenty to acclimatise you to varying standards of expertise. Great fun and an opportunity to meet other in the same ‘boat’ as yourself. Highly recommended.
We have been dancing with Victoria since January 2020 (with a break for the pandemic). It’s great to have a found a hobby we can do as a couple all year round. However, you don’t need a partner to join any of Victoria’s classes! We now go twice a week, enjoying Modern Jive on Tuesdays and Ballroom and Latin on Thursdays. The Chance2Dance social on Thursdays is a fab way to continue practising all we have learnt. It’s great fun! We always enjoy attending the many socials that Victoria arranges. The Summer and Winter Balls at Burton Town Hall are a highlight! The dance studio is clean and bright and has a lovely dance floor. We have made some lovely friends since joining. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Come along and give dance a go!
As my wife Jane and myself looked for something we could enjoy together we found Want2Dance with Victoria. Since we started we have learnt to ballroom dance and modern jive all done in a sociable, friendly environment. We really enjoy the social events Victoria organises and we have even danced in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom!

Since joining classes at Want2dance with Victoria as a single person, I have learnt the basics in several dance styles, – including ballroom, Latin, modern jive and sequence dancing. All lessons are conducted in a friendly helpful setting. Through Want2dance with Victoria I have made a whole new circle of friends. There are plenty of opportunities to socialise and put my new dancing skills to the test in the many and varied fabulous social events that Victoria organises. Dance has changed my life!
We have learned how to ballroom dance, and modern jive dancing. Recently I held my hen party at the studio; a Grease Pink Ladies Dance Workshop which was fabulous fun. Victoria also choreographed and taught us our wedding dance. The studio is fabulous, Victoria is friendly, fun and professional We’ve made some great friends.

Victoria’s method of teaching is different as she teaches small building blocks rather than everything all at once which means you can than dance to music rather than hope the music fits the steps !
Her team are wonderful being available during lessons to give hands on guidance while learning. And single dancers are welcomed so partners are not essential.
Altogether a very friendly place to visit and make friends while learning to dance.
We have been dancing with Victoria for several years now – firstly (before the pandemic) at her “basic” classes in Lichfield, on-line during the pandemic and since then at her lovely studio in Burton-upon-Trent. Thanks to her excellent tuition we have progressed in our Ballroom, Latin, Sequence and Modern Jive to the extent that we are now confident enough to be first up on the dance floor on cruises, and to assist in the dance classes on those cruises when called upon! If you have ever had the urge to learn to dance, or can already but want to improve or learn new moves, then I highly recommend Victoria. She’s friendly, patient, fun, and has years of dance teaching experience. She has a lovely, classy dance studio in Burton. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and I have made many good friends since I first went to Victoria’s classes a couple of years ago. Please give it a try.
Lovely dance floor and plenty of on-site parking space. The atmosphere in the Studio is always warm, with a friendly welcome. I can highly recommend Want2Dance with Victoria.

Want 2 Dance? Step right up (left foot first) and just do it! I turned up for my first lesson with both of my left feet in the hope that a miracle might occur. No need for miracles, I just listened to Victoria, did what she said and in no time at all I find I have a left foot and a right foot, I know which is which and I can waltz and fox trot and cha-cha-cha darling … all thanks to Victoria; a brilliant dance teacher!
